The rules of the route.

These terms are an agreement between you and FarFlirt (“we”, “us”), the free dating app for meeting someone from another country, at farflirt.com.

You accept these terms when you create an account and tick the box to agree. Please read them together with our privacy policy and the Safety Center. If you try the demo without an account, the same rules apply. If you don't agree with these terms, please don't use FarFlirt.

• You must be 18 or older, or older still if the age of majority where you live is higher.
• One account per person. Accounts are personal and can't be shared, sold or transferred.
• You must not have been banned from FarFlirt before.
• You must not be a registered sex offender, in any country.
• You must be allowed to use FarFlirt under the laws that apply to you.
• FarFlirt is for people who live in Europe (including the UK), the USA, Canada and Australia.

• Tell the truth about yourself: your first name, your age, where you live, and recent photos of you.
• Keep your sign-in details to yourself. You're responsible for what happens on your account.
• If you think someone else has got into your account, write to support@farflirt.com straight away.
• You can change your profile, or delete your account, at any time in the app.

• FarFlirt introduces you to people from other countries. If you turn on “People from my country” in Settings, you can also meet people from your own country, but only those who have turned it on too.
• Every night at 21:00 your time you get up to three matches: your Drop. If nobody says hello within 24 hours, the match disappears. Once you've both written, the chat stays.
• In Browse you can like up to 50 people a day.
• You can translate messages. Translations are made by a machine and can be wrong, so check anything important.

We can't promise you'll find a match, or that anyone will reply. We keep improving FarFlirt, so features may change over time.

FarFlirt is free, and there are no paid features right now: no paywalls, no paid boosts and no paying per message. If we ever add optional paid features, we'll update these terms and tell you first, and we'll never charge you without your clear agreement.

• Your photos, profile and messages stay yours.
• So that FarFlirt can work, you give us a free, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, store, copy, resize, display and translate what you post, only to run FarFlirt: for example to show your profile to other members, deliver your messages and translate them when someone asks.
• This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, apart from what our privacy policy says we keep for safety or legal reasons.
• Your profile photos must be of you. Only post things you have the right to share.
• We don't check everything before it appears, but we act on reports and can remove anything that breaks these terms or the law.

FarFlirt works when people are kind and honest. Breaking these rules can get you banned straight away.

• Be kind and honest. Be yourself, and treat people the way you'd like to be treated.
• No harassment: threats, stalking, insults, sexual messages or images nobody asked for, or pressuring anyone for photos, contact details or a meeting.
• No hate: attacking anyone for their race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, gender, gender identity or sexual orientation.
• No money: don't ask anyone for money, gift cards or crypto, and don't send any, whatever the reason.
• No scams: romance scams, investment or trading pitches, or anything else meant to trick people.
• No commercial activity: advertising, selling, recruiting, or escort or sex work services.
• No fakes: fake profiles, pretending to be someone else, or photos that aren't you.
• No spam, bots or scraping, and no getting around blocks, bans or limits.
• No sharing other people's private information, such as their contact details, address or intimate images.
• Nothing sexual involving anyone under 18. We remove it, ban the account and report it to the authorities.
• Nothing illegal where you or the other person live.

• Country Nights are one-hour live group chats between members in two cities.
• All the rules of conduct apply in rooms too.
• Links, phone numbers and social media handles can't be posted in a room. Share them in your own chat once you match.
• Report anyone who breaks the rules. You won't see their messages in the room again.
• If you take a seat, please show up. A no-show lowers your Word and keeps someone else from joining.

Your Word is a score from 0 to 100 that starts at 70. It's based only on behaviour: replying to new matches within 24 hours, keeping conversations going, closing chats politely, showing up to Country Nights you signed up for and verifying your phone. Going quiet for five days in an active chat, or missing a Country Night you signed up for, lowers it.

Nobody can rate or review you, and your Word says nothing about your looks, your country or who you are. It affects who is shown first, and at 80 or above you get the “Keeps their word” badge. Other members only see the badge, never your score. Closing a chat politely never lowers it.

Getting verified is optional. You send a selfie copying a random pose, and our team compares it with your profile photos by hand. There's no automated face recognition. If they match, you get the Verified badge. Your selfie is deleted as soon as it's been reviewed, whether it's approved or not.

The Verified badge means a selfie matched the profile photos when we checked. It isn't a background check, and it doesn't guarantee who someone is or what they intend. A verified phone number doesn't prove who someone is either, so take the same care with everyone.

• You can report or block anyone from the menu in a chat or on their profile. Blocking works straight away.
• Every report is reviewed by a person on our team.
• FarFlirt checks messages automatically for requests for money, and for links and contact details early in a chat, and shows a warning in that chat. These checks only show warnings.
• If you break these terms, we can remove your content, suspend your account, ban it (it's suspended and hidden from everyone) or mark it as a scam (it's suspended, and people who chatted with it see a warning). A person on our team makes these decisions.
• Scams, anything sexual involving minors, threats of violence, and commercial or escort activity lead to an immediate ban. Serious or repeated breaks of these terms lead to a permanent ban. Banned members may not open a new account.
• If we act on your account, we'll tell you why, unless that would put someone at risk or break the law.
• To appeal, email support@farflirt.com and tell us why you think we got it wrong. We'll look at it again and tell you what we decide.
• If you don't have an account, you can report illegal content on FarFlirt to support@farflirt.com.

We don't run background checks, including criminal record checks, on members, and a Verified badge doesn't guarantee who someone is. You're responsible for how you deal with other members, online and in person.

Please read the Safety Center before you meet anyone. Take your time, meet somewhere public, tell a friend where you'll be, and never send money to someone you met on FarFlirt. If you're in danger, call your local emergency number first, then report the account to us.

FarFlirt is provided as it is

We work to keep FarFlirt running, safe and useful, but we provide it “as is” and “as available”. We can't promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may change, pause or stop features, or FarFlirt as a whole. If we ever close FarFlirt, we'll tell you in advance so you can download your data.

Limits on our liability

As far as the law allows, we're not responsible for:

• What other members say or do, on FarFlirt or when you meet.
• Losses we couldn't have foreseen, or indirect losses.
• Business losses. FarFlirt is for personal use only.
• Problems caused by things outside our reasonable control, such as outages at our providers or your internet connection.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that the law doesn't allow us to limit or exclude, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Nothing in these terms takes away your rights as a consumer under the law of the country where you live.

We may update these terms as FarFlirt grows or the law changes. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If a change is important, we'll tell you in the app before it applies, and ask you to agree again where needed. If you keep using FarFlirt after a change applies, the new terms apply to you. If you don't agree with a change, you can delete your account at any time.

• You can delete your account at any time with “Delete account” in Settings. Our privacy policy explains what happens to your data.
• We can suspend or end your account if you break these terms, if the law requires it, or to protect other members.
• If we end your account for breaking these terms, you may not open a new one.
• Some parts of these terms still apply after your account ends, such as the limits on our liability.

• The FarFlirt name, logo, design and software belong to us. Please don't copy or use them without our permission.
• These terms and our privacy policy are the whole agreement between you and us about FarFlirt.
• If a court decides that part of these terms is invalid, the rest still applies.
• If we don't enforce part of these terms straight away, we can still enforce it later.
• You can't transfer your account or your rights under these terms. We may transfer ours to a company that takes over running FarFlirt, for example when FarFlirt becomes a company. That won't reduce your rights, and we'll tell you if it happens.

Whatever law applies, if you're a consumer you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can take a claim to your local courts where the law allows it. If something goes wrong, please write to us first at support@farflirt.com, and we'll try to put it right.
